Darkest Dungeon 2 Storms Early Access

The long wait is finally over: Darkest Dungeon 2 releases today. If you’re on the west coast of the US, you’ll be able to get it at 9 AM your time, while those on the east will have to wait until noon their time, and our friends in the UK and surrounding areas will get it at 5 PM their time. Something spooky has been happening in the Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops: Cold War universe during the limited-time event known as “The Haunting”. Sea of Solitude is a game about monsters. Some try to devour you, some run away from you, and some refuse to acknowledge your existence. They take the form of sea creatures, ravens, wolves, and chameleons, among others, and it’s not always clear which are friends and which are foes, whether they need to be defeated or saved. Animal Crossing Season 5 Amiibo Cards Coming This November

Fans of the popular town builder/turnip-based capitalism simulator Animal Crossing will be excited to learn that Season 5 amiibo cards will be coming in November. There will be 48 new cards in total and they will feature some of the newer characters found in the New Horizons game that kept us all company during the darkest days of 2020 and 2021. The cards work very much like your standard amiibo figurines, except they’re cards and not figurines.

Deathloop Game Update 1 Patch Notes

The first major update for Deathloop – Game Update 1 – is now available on PS5 and PC. It’s a big one: 11GB of improvements and bug fixes, along with some additional controller support and settings that will make those sweet kicks a whole lot smoother. To say that we like Deathloop a lot is a bit of an understatement, and we’re hardly alone: Arkane Studios’s first-person shooter/Groundhog Day mashup has also received near-universal acclaim, and is potentially a game of the year contender.

Fall Guys Update 1.30 Patch Notes

Fall Guys is dropping version 1.30 today, which includes some new features and fixes for your favorite blob-based battler. The Season 5 update saw the introduction of a bunch of wacky new costumes, challenges, and rewards, and update 1.30 promises to keep the good times rolling (or, falling).

Red Dead Online Quick Draw Club 4 Available Today

Red Dead Online has a new installment in the Quick Draw Club, available today. The latest in the series of new installments in the Red Dead Online Blood Money update, Quick Draw Club 4, introduces new weapons variants, costumes, and poses for your posses. If you’re a longtime member of the Quick Draw Club, you’ll also get access to The Halloween Pass 2 when it launches later in October. Spooky!

Planet Zoo Update 1.7 and North America Animal Pack Out Now

There’s a new update and animal pack available for Planet Zoo, and there’s a lot going on. The North America Animal Pack introduces many new animals, behaviors, and items, and it all looks adorable and/or majestic, depending on the animal. Rainbow Six Siege Update Y6S3.2 Patch Notes

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has been updated to version Y6S3.2 today, so here’s the full list of patch notes. There are a number of bugs that have been fixed, along with a couple of new features for player comfort, including an easier-to-read scoreboard. PC users can now also display a number of performance metrics in the HUD, with options to display FPS, latency, and NVIDIA-related info. Genshin Impact Version 2.2 Coming October 13

A new version of the massively popular, free-to-play open-world RPG, arrives on October 13. Version 2.2 – called “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog” – will include a new location, new characters, challenges, mini-games, and more to Genshin Impact.
